Did you know August is National Peach month? Probably not, because the peach is like the apple’s red-headed step child {by the way I think that phrase should be revised to something like “three-headed stepchild. I’m just saying. A three-headed stepchild seems much more cantankerous than a red-headed one}. It seriously seems like a pretty neglected fruit, unless I suppose you live in the south. My elementry geography teacher claimed you Georgians love your peaches. Anyways, today I am sharing all things peaches in celebration of this fruit! Random fact: Did you know that there was a machine developed to rub off some of the fuzz from peaches? Since then sales have shot up. True story.See people…..stick around I’ll teach you all kinds of things. Now go eat a peach!
