Not All Those Who Wander Are Lost.............

…..except for in my case. I’m not going to lie I was definitely lost. As most of you know I’ve been on a whirlwind of travel for the day job the past two months.  Which explains a little on why the blog has fallen a tad bit by the wayside lately.  Well that and the fact that I’m attempting to wrap up Delightfully Noted’s 2011 holiday line all while processing orders in what little free time I have.  Free time! Ha….that’s a myth.  Any who, about a month ago my travels took me to Michigan and let me clarify typically my business on the road doesn’t involve staying in one city for too long.  It’s not uncommon for me to stay in three to four hotels a week in multiple cities and towns.  Yes, that does result in me waking up every morning wondering where the heck I am?  I’ve been at this for three years and over the years I’ve taken on more of a “go with the flow” type of approach to my travel plans.  Which is just a zen way of me saying that I typically have no clue where I am going until I get in the car or on the plane and start going. I mean I have a general idea. I just don’t have clue if I am suppose to be in Detroit on Thursday and Ann Arbor on Friday or is it Kalmazoo on Friday? Get the point? With that being said, it’s amazing I don’t end up in the wrong place more often.

Then this Michigan trip came along and somehow I ended up at a hotel that I wasn’t suppose to be at & they were out of rooms, and then I got in my car, and drove an hour east the wrong direction {I blame “road brain” similar to “road kill”} and ended up in this small lakefront town called South Haven Harbor. I had a room but again I was at a hotel way out of my travel itenerary. But I didn’t mind because I had the most beautiful view of Lake Michigan. And the next morning I had the most relaxing run along thier lakefront.

So see sometimes the best plan is no plan at all….....

I guess it all worked out for the best! I certainly wouldn't mind waking up to a beautiful view like that! Of course, knowing me, instead of waking up and being thankful for the view, I'd wake up and be completely stressed out that my plan was messed up! I tend to go a little crazy when plans change! Haha!

Talking to myself is no fun & borderline crazy, however, please note if your email isn't linked to your account, I have no way to reply back. Insert sad face. Feel free to leave your email in your comment so we can chat and I can answer your questions!
