Simple Holiday Dish Towels {Welcome Tonia from The Gunny Sack}

Hello everyone...I'm Tonia from The Gunny Sack and I am excited to be Jennifer's guest here at Delightfully Noted!  With the holidays coming, everyone is looking for easy decorating ideas and simple handmade gifts.  I'm going to show you one of my favorite holiday things to make...Dish Towels!

I usually use white flour sacks but I found these dish towels with red stripes at Ikea and thought they would work perfectly!  They need to be laundered before starting.

Find images you like and place them on a document or use the one I made from here.  I found these adorable images at The Graphics Fairy.  Then, print the images onto iron on transfer paper, following the instructions on the package.  The most important thing to remember is to use "mirror image"!  I've used several brands and have had good results with all of them.

Cut out the images and iron them onto the dish towels, again, following the instructions on the package.  Allow the transfer to cool and then peel off the backing.

Then, just add a cute ribbon and a bell or just hang in your kitchen to use!

Thanks so much for having me as a guest today, Jennifer!  I hope all of you come visit me at The Gunny Sack to see some of the other holiday ideas I've posted like my {Everything} In A Jar Gifts and Magazine Gift Bags!
