Sometimes You Gotta Spice Things Up......

Decided to shake things up a bit on the ol' blog today by trying something new. Typically, Friday's are reserved for my Dose of Delight series but that's going bye bye for now for reasons you won't care to hear about. So I'll spare you the details. You're welcome.

I've always enjoyed reading the High Five for Friday post I have seen around bloggy land.
High 5 is about your five favorite recent things in life.
It's a chance to stop and reflect on the things that you've enjoyed.
Sort of like Dose of Delight but on a more personal level.

1. Dear Mumford and Sons, thank you. You may be the only thing helping me hold on to what sanity I have left every day during my hour...hour and ten....sometimes hour and twenty minute commute to and from work every day.
2. I sort of succeeded at stenciling a small wall. "Sort of" being the key word.
Hoping this closet makeover will inspire me to clean house a little more often.
 Doubt it.

3. Proud of the fact that I actually was able to supress my ADD this week & create a new holiday invite. Hard to believe but it is that time of the year again where I should be focusing on designing the Delightfully Noted holiday collection. Sooooo hard to think snowmen and mistletoes when it's like 90 fricken degrees outside! Sneek peek coming soon.
4. These anthro-inspired looking knobs made my heart go pitter patter.
Wouldn't they look darling on a dresser for a little girl's room?
Or perhaps on a slab of drift wood to hold all your necklaces?
5. Happy Birthday to my baby Brylee, aka Buddha, aka Brylee Bear, aka the most manipulative, mischevious, ornery little dog evaaa. But I still love every ounce of you.
I wish I could have stunted your growth and kept you as a puppy forever but I'm pretty sure that would be considered inhumane or something like that.
Thanks for "sometimes" letting me snuggle you.

What was some of your favorite things from this week?
Please do share!
Hope you all have a delightful weekend!

YEAH for this post!! you need to do more of them! My sister in law has that long of a commute and she listens to books on tape. I can't imagine being in the car that long. I'm sorry!! And love the stencil wall!

My husband listens to audiobooks in his commute as well, def saves his sanity. We rent the mp3 files for free through the library. But, Mumford and Sons is not

Don't know what happened there! Mumford and Sons not a bad alternative. <3 Your stenciled wall looks awesome! I want to do something similar in our coat closet...

A wonderful friend of mine (online) knew I was struggling with finances and health. She sent me a $$ gift through paypal as a surprise. I am humbled to the tips of my toes.
