High Five for Friday!

1. This week we started on Baby B's nursery! Dreaming up this room is like my version of the Super Bowl minus all the calories. You can see my inspiration for his habitat here but we marked off the first task on our to-do list by painting the walls. Who knew math would be involved?

2. Speaking of the nursery we the hubby scored this vintage
side table off of Craig's List for just thrity ol' Washingtons.
Yes, that's right I can practically offer sellers my kidney and they won't get back to me.
My husband on the other hand can close a deal in like
five minutes. I'm beginning to think he works with the mob or something.......
The real question was if I should leave it white or go bold;
orange or aqua to match my nursery accent colors?

3. AND speaking of room makeovers......I can not stop swooning over this office/craft room makeover from Two Twenty One. Lurrrrvvvee it!

4. Last weekend we supported the local schools by making out like bandits at the annual kid's resale event. Baby B will not go nekked for sure.

5. Wrapped up this custom order for one of my #1 customers. The amazing thing about running your own on-line biz is having complete strangers support you over & over again. I have done a # of Mandy's kid's birthday invites and was so honored to be able to do her wedding invites!

What were the highlights from your week?

High Five for Friday!

I love that you are not doing the typical baby blue for Baby B's room. I can't wait to see the finished product :) My sister is getting married this fall, I may just have to send her your way! Heather

I love the striped wall! We have a stripe on the wall of my youngest son's wall and I think it adds a lot to the room.

I love-love-love the striped wall!! So simple and still clean-looking, but great impact! Is that the crib we can see a peek of? I love the wood tones with the gray and white. And holy moly SCORE on that adorable table! I think you should give it a fresh coat of white paint - you can always repaint it a crazy color later.

I have a feeling you (like someone else I know...........me.......) might develop a baby clothes/shoes/hats/blazers/suspenders/etc-buying problem. Little stuff is just so darn cute, you can't be expected to resist. ((And it seems so cheap compared to adult clothes, it kind of plays with my mind -- "A whole SHIRT for ten dollars!!" I always think I'm getting some kind of bargain, haha!
