Washi Tape Baby Thank You Cards

Today I am sharing these quick and easy washi tape baby thank you cards. I am always on the look out for different ways to use up my rolls of washi tape? That way I can find an excuse to buy more (as if I ever need an excuse to buy more of this fabulously delicious tape). As most of you know, your baby shower isn't the end of people gifting your munchkin and you adorable goodies. The fun gifts keep rolling in, which means I need to get on top of those thank you cards.
I snuck in this project during nap time last week (yes, I sacrificed showering that day).
These handmade cards are really simple to make.
First, find a shape or template you would like to use for the front of your card.
Since these are thank yous for baby gifts I went with the sweet and classic onesie design.
I just Googled "onesie template" and found a pattern I liked over here.
After you print and cut out your shape start tearing off strips of washi tape and apply it to a blank piece of cardstock. Then trace your template on top of the taped area. Cut out that shape once you are done tracing. You now have a design for the front of your cards!
Now all you need to do is cut your cardstock to the size you would like your card to be and fold it in half. Adhere your washi tape onesie or what ever design you chose to the front of your card with some glue. Dress up your onesie with buttons or bows or any other embellishment that floats your boat.

These are adorable, and I can just as easily see making them out of cute cardstock. I may have one or two sheets lying around. :P My baby shower is coming up--I will be keeping this in mind! :)
