Hey guys! Just wanted to drop in and give you a home makeover update! Last week we started working on our entry way wall. For weeks (okay, months) I've been obsessed with plank walls. Hence, the walls we installed in the camp theme playroom. That project reconfirmed my love for them and I quickly started plotting out my "Just Say No to Nekked Walls" campaign.
One of the first walls I wanted to tackle was in our entry way.
We have an EXTREMELY tall foyer and I just knew planking some of it would be the perfect way to highlight this beast and help add some charm and character to the space.
After all, this is the first thing you see when you walk into our home.
A recent sale on tongue and groove planks at our local Menards was just the kick in the pants that we needed to get this project started.
I'll share a lot more details and photos later, but here's our progress so far.
A fancy schmancy new wall!
Gah! I just love how she turned out.
We still need to caulk, fill in the nail holes, and paint it BUT man,
I can just sit here and stare at her all day long.
The fun part will be deciding what to hang up there above the dresser.
I have a few ideas up my sleeve!
In the mean time, a double bonus is that the plank wall serves as a lovely, nice,
crisp white backdrop for all my little "photoshoots".
Stay tuned for updates soon!
In the mean time, come hang out with me on Instagram.
I update and share sneak peeks of my projects over there pretty regularly!
