An "All Things Christmas" Dose of Delight | 12.04.2015

Happy Fri-YAY! The fact that we're thisclose to the weekend is the only thing that lit a fire under my toosh this morning to get out of bed. Well, that AND a needy two year old. Geesh, they should really learn how to feed and change themselves, don't you think? Speaking of diapers.....next week I've committed myself to begin our full time potty training adventures with Little B. I have no idea what the heck I'm doing or why I decided to do this among the holiday hustle and bustle. Perhaps, I'm legitimately crazy? None the less, wish me luck!

But enough about that, let's get to this week's Dose of Delight.
It's an "All Things Christmas" theme today. Enjoy!

All week I've been enjoying stalking the houses over on the Cherished Christmas Home Tours hosted by Cherished Bliss and Country Living. I know most of us wouldn't consider drooling all over ourselves attractive but I promise you want to check out Dandelion Patina's holiday home AND then go get yourself a towel.

Earlier this week I shared my love for beautifully wrapped gifts and today I want to continue that love fest by sharing this darling printable Christmas wrap from Thirty Handmade Days.

I want to sit around all day in yoga pants and do downward facing dogs. Haha! Who am I kidding I want to sit around all day in my yoga pants and drink hot cocoa out of these so-adorable-I-can't-take-it mugs.

Have you guys been following the #create4theholidays series over on Instagram that I'm co-hosting along with a handful of creative ladies? Remember every Tuesday we announce a new theme and if you'd like to share your projects for that week just make sure to follow the rules (listed on our Tuesday Instagram posts) and to tag it with #create4theholidays Even if you have nothing to share you can gather lots of ideas by checking out everyone else's submissions! This past week's theme was DIY gifts or gift wrapping and I just adore this holiday potpourri idea shared by my fellow co-hostess, Amy, of Tonality Designs.

I'm drooling over that cheese spread! :) Love the chalk wrapping paper too. I do a different wrapping paper for each person in our immediate family, and I don't use name labels. I put all the gifts out ahead of time, and my kids have no idea which ones are theirs until Christmas morning when they get to the bottom of their stockings and find a scrap of their wrapping paper. So fun! My big boys know not to touch (or shake) any of the gifts since they might be messing up someone else's present! I may have to put up a barricade around the tree this year, though, since our 6-month-old is getting really mobile and curious! I don't think he'll heed my strict no-touching-the-gifts rule. ;)

I'd love to hear from you!
