Whoot Whoo! I Got a New Look!

Look who got a makeover? Folks, I'm going to warn you, my use of exclamation marks may be unstoppable in today's post! I'm just so excited, and I just can't hide it! I've been waiting a really long time for this moment and now that it's here I just want to scream from the rooftops. You see four scores and seven years ago, I had the itch to change things up here on thee ol' blog. Last April marked my fifth year in blogging and although Delightfully Noted's original look will always a hold a special place in my heart I was dying for change. I won't bore you with all the technical things that were annoying the heck out of me but let's just say the site wasn't as user friendly as it could of been. The final straw was a few months ago when I went to edit something on the back end and I broke my blog. Yes, I broke my blog. I now know how Kimmy felt that one time she broke the internet.
The good news is it was just the kick in the pants I needed to make some ch-ch-ch-changes!

As you can see the new look is a lot cleaner and simplistic and I LOVE it! Feel free to take a look around and let me know what you think? Unless you hate it, then you can just feel free to keep your thoughts to yourself. I'm still tweaking a few things but I was just too excited I couldn't wait any longer on sharing the news. One of my favorite new features is the user-friendly navigation bar that you can see at the top of the page.

It's now much easier for you as a reader to see all the different categories of projects I have shared over the years. I will also now have a designated spot for a home tour, including "before" and "after" shots of the rooms we've already tackled (coming soon!) Speaking of sharing, social media icons are now plastered all over this site making it a breeze to like, pin, tweet, scratch and sniff any of your favorites here. In addition, the site is also much more mobile-friendly, which is important considering a large number of people search the internet and read off of their phones and tablets these days!

I know these all seem like rather basic website features but I've been living without  a lot of these for the past few years! Seriously, how did y'all put up with me?

So once again feel free to take a look around and make sure to stop by again soon, as more changes are heading your way!
