I've been in love with botanical prints for as long as I can remember. They make for such beautiful wall art and I find them even more beautiful when they're free! I'm currently working on a gallery wall of botanical prints for our dining room, which made me think of one of my favorite sources for free botanical art; the New York Public Library. Yes, you heard me right....a library. You know that place people use to go to for a thing called books, like with real pages and all.
Did you know they have an online catalog that you can download free art from? A quick search of the word "botanicals" led me to a page full of a variety of flowers and colors. Once you click on a picture it gives you the option to download. You can then print them off at home or have them printed through a local Office Depot or Kinkos.
Last season of "Fixer Upper", Joanne used botanical prints in this couple's dining room and I was like fo' real, thanks Jo Jo now I know what to do with that bare nekked wall of mine! I can't wait to show you guys when I'm done (psst...I almost always share sneak peeks of home projects on Instagram first!)

The downside to gallery walls is the need for multiple frames, which can be quite costly. I typically like to wait till Michael's runs both a sale and a coupon on their frames or I always find great deals over on Amazon too (affiliate link - see full disclosure here).
Both of these weathered frames are reasonably priced and would compliment botanical prints beautifully (click on the pictures to see more)
If you love free art(and who doesn't) I discussed my other favorite resource here too!
So what's your thoughts? Do you like botanical prints? Would you use them in a dining room, living room, or master?
