HALLOWEEN ENTRY TABLE DECOR

I'm feeling inspired by this spooky but charming Halloween entryway decor!

If you're looking to add some spook to your home in the month of October but don't have a lot of time, motivation, or money to decorate the whole house, then I highly suggest focusing just on your entryway. Aside from your front door, typically it's the one space that will greet your trick-or-treaters. And you can bet their mamas are secretly eyeing it for inspiration! So today, I wanted to swing on by  to share my black and white Halloween entry table decor.

My foyer table is as fickle as a sixteen year old girl when it comes to picking out her attire. Last week she was decked out in her fall best and today she's donning her Halloween ensemble. Yes, she changes quite frequently, but she's one of my favorite spaces in the house to decorate for any holiday.

I'm not an over-the-top decorator when it comes to Halloween. 98% of our spooky decor happens right here in the entryway.  Last year, I went with a vintage-medical-inspired theme, this year I was in a rush to get things up during nap time, so I just gathered together things that I thought would look good. I guess you can say there's a black and white theme.

The best part was using items I already had. As you can see,
I incorporated a lot of the same items from last year's vignette. The darling Trick-or-Treat block is from Blocks, Paper, Paint, the skeleton hands and faux white pumpkins were from Michaels, and the big spiders are Dollar Store finds. The black candelabra and lace runner, I purchased
years ago but Amazon sells a similar candelabra and runner.
Flashcards were all vintage market finds and the little haunted house, well, my memory is no longer serving me well and I can't remember where I found it!

The second best part was that my hubby actually added his own touches to this display! He's the one who thought of placing the bottom flashcard in the skeleton fingers and the crow on the candelabra. Isn't that so incredibly creative of him (just nod your head yes)?
No really, I honestly liked what he did so I didn't change them a bit!

One of the biggest ways to save money when decorating for the holidays is to shop your home for items that will coordinate but are not necessarily your typical looking holiday decor. For example, the wreath (which is a find from Aldi, out of all places!), it's not a Halloween wreath but when I got a glimpse of it sitting in our dining room, I realized the color would work great for our ghoulish display!

Hope you enjoyed the quick, mini tour of our Halloween entryway!
Do you decorate for October 31st?  Do you go big or go small?
