Simplify, simplify, simplify! That was the motto running through my head as I pulled out my seasonal decor to decorate for Fall. This year I decided to only decorate with the Autumn items that were speaking to me (versus every other year where I pull out EVERY SINGLE fall item I own, whether I like it or not!) Let me tell you folks, I feel liberated! So with that being said, please join me on a tour of our Fall decorated home.
Let's start with a part of our house I rarely share; our front porch. Want to know why? Because I DESPISE storm doors, but my hubby and dad insist on them for safety and insulation purposes. I hate that the door smooshes my wreaths and most of all that the glare of the glass kills my decor/photographing vibes. But who am I to argue aesthetetics over safety? I mean, I still argue it, but as you can see I haven't won yet.

They came with removable battery operated candles, and I'm already scheming up ideas on what to put inside of them for the other seasons. For now a festive strand of fall berries and an array of pumpkins keep them company.

Let's head inside, shall we?
If you're a long time friend of Delightfully Noted, then you're no stranger to this space, our entryway, however, you're probably not familiar with this new dresser (unless you're one of those cool people who follow me on Instagram). I found this pine IKEA dresser at Goodwill last year and recently decided to play switch-a-roo with it and the aqua dresser. Sometimes you just need change!
I decided to keep my fall decor here pretty neutral with a few pops of green. The wreath was a new purchase from TJ Maxx and the small green table bench was from one of my favorite local antique stores (see more of resource list below).
I always like to mix my faux pumpkin collection with real pumpkins. Do you have a favorite type of pumpkin? Baby Boos and Blue Moons are mine.
In our kitchen eat-in area , the shelves are always the ones that get the most attention when it comes to dressing up for the holidays. This year I added a new Fall sign from The Spruce Goose Sign Company.

Now onto the dining room. I strained my brain for weeks trying to think up some elaborate centerpiece for our large farmhouse table with no results, but then I remembered my goal was to simplify and suddenly it all started to come together.
Excuse the grainy photos, it was a really gloomy day the day I photographed this room. Womp, womp.
I think the happiest purchase I made this season were the blue gingham pillows from Kirklands.
I go gaga for anything blue and anything gingham, so it's like my two favorite things married and had a baby!
Also, as a decorator you learn where your talents are and where they are not within your home, and let me tell you decorating the inside of a hutch is not where my talents lie. Haha. I pretty much just toss things in there.
I wanted a different saying here other than the typical seasonal words that we're use to, like "Gather" and "Thankful" . I decided to go with "Cider House" after spotting some similar inspiration on Pinterest and plus, Little B loves apple cider SO much this time year, that it reminds me of him. Jennie, of Spruce Goose, was great to work with and created a sign that was spot on what I had I mind!
To add a little more depth to it, I attached it to the back of our large "kitchen" sign that we normally display on the top shelf.
The copper bowl (?) was a recent Salvation Army find. I love adding touches of copper to my Fall decor, there's something about it that ups the coziness factor and helps break up all the white on this wall.

Last stop on today's tour, our mudroom hallway. You know I always love to add a few seasonal decorations to this space!
Can you tell I have a thing for those berry garlands this year? Usually, it's wheat that I'm obsessed with when it comes to decorating for Fall, but this year, I've been all about the garland!
And that's a wrap folks! I hope you enjoyed our Fall home tour this year and wishing you and yours a cozy, Fall-tastic season!
Remember you can always find me sharing all kinds of decor inspiration and shenanigans over at Instagram and Facebook. Let's hang out!
