Before we get started though, let's discuss the status of the playroom...since
this is how this post came about in the first place.
This past weekend we made some headway on the feature wall....and by we, I mean the hubby.
I basically just stood around trying to wrangle a certain one year old from stabbing himself with a box of nails and hammering a hole in the dry wall. Last we talked about this room, I mentioned our plans to add a plank wall (to go along with the outdoorsy theme) and a few "built-ins".
Here's a quick pic from our 24 hour plank challenge. By the way this is the closest my abs will to get to exercising this week, or any week.

You can also see we made progress on the base for the future built-in cabinets as well.
Speaking of the cabinets, we placed an order for them this weekend at Home Depot.
Yay! Exciting....then they said it could take 2-3 weeks for them to arrive. Womp, womp.
I feel like a kid anxiously awaiting for school to end and summer vacay to start!
So in the meantime, in order to curb my obnoxious inability to patiently wait on anything home-related, I've decided to start thinking about the fun part, picking hardware for the cabinets.
SEE how this has come full circle? Knobs, playroom, cabinets, me waiting on cabinets, me not happy, me divert my attention to knobs, me happy again. Knobs! Knobs, yes, we need knobs! And here we are...
