Happy November! Is everyone recovered from their sugar hangover yet? I have to say I'm pretty proud of myself. I've only snuck two mini Snickers bars from my kiddo's basket. Now ask me on Monday and that may be a different story!
Today I wanted to hop on to share a round-up of some Thanksgiving table decor setting ideas (or tablescapes as fancy decor people like to refer to them.) I know in the retail/blogging/Instagram world it seems like we like to gloss over Thanksgiving.....and that's because we are!! Haha. But in all seriousness, Turkey Day deserves some attention too and I'm here today to give it!

I've gathered up and created a few inspiration boards to help you get started on styling your Thanksgiving table. I want to point out that when I share these mood boards my intent is not to try to persuade you that you need to go out and BUY ALL THE THINGS every season. If anything it's to inspire you to get creative with what you have on hand or to think of your home decor from a different perspective. Perhaps your everyday dish ware is blue. Great! Now throw in a handful of mini orange pumpkins and maybe purchase a pretty pack of new plaid linen napkins AND now you have yourself a Thanksgiving tablescape. See! It doesn't have to be complicated or expensive to style the perfect table.

Speaking of blue, I think it should be a law that it is required for every holiday! I love how the navy compliments the orange in the pumpkins. This tablescape screams Autumn, football, and all things Thanksgiving.

Uncle Harry is enough craziness for one holiday! A neutral colored tablescape will help quiet things down. Pears can be used for budget-friendly table decor or attach a tag to them to create simple name tags.

Bold and sophisticated; this black Thanksgiving color scheme is sure to make a statement! I admit I would of never thought of using black as the main color for my Autumn decor but I quickly became obsessed with it after coming across this moody havest collection at Williams Sonoma. Check out your Halloween decor, perhaps you already have a black tablecloth or black lanterns to incorporate within your Thanksgiving dinnerware.

If you think about it, purple-ish colors are seen through out nature in Fall all of the time. Why not welcome it inside to join the rest of your Autumn decor? A few pieces of mercury glass help add a little sparkle to your table. If you already own Thanksgiving themed dinnerware, don't be afraid to coordinate non-traditional Autumn colors with it. The addition of these amethyst purple wine glasses really helps highlight the small purple flowers on the large Turkey platter. Purple isn't a color most people would generally associate with the season, but when paired together they make a beautiful, cozy fall palette!
