Baby B caught the bug.....the creative bug that is.
Check out his first craft project; baby footprint art for Halloween.
Can I tell you how excited I am to finally experience the holidays through a child's eyes?
Well, actually I'm not asking your permission. I'm just going to go ahead and tell you.
I'm excited to finally experience the holidays through a child's eyes.
I mean I know right now Baby B could care less about trick or treating or dressing up for Halloween but that still didn't keep me from pondering for weeks on end on what costume to get him {Eek! I can't wait to share.}
Ah, but I digress. So back to this easy little wall art we put together to mark his first Halloween with us.
We just simply inked up his tootsies {with non-toxic ink, of course, because poisoning your child is a good way to get a visit from child protective services}and stamped them in the middle of a small white canvas that I picked up on sale at the craft store.
Then I cut the words out of black vinyl with my Silhouette Cameo.
Don't sweat it if you don't have a cutting machine; you could always stencil or free hand the words.
And then for good measure, we added a strip of chevron black and white washi tape. My motto is that washi tape can make anything prettier, yes, even opossums.
So what do you think of Baby B's first endeavor into the craft world?
Two glue-gun-burned-thumbs up, right?
