I've been meaning to share our farmhouse-inspired Halloween decor for two weeks now but motherhood has seriously been kicking my ass lately! I'm not a huge Halloween decorator but I LOVE adding some spook to our entry way every year. Little B always enjoys it and let's face it, any time you can decorate with skeleton bones and eyeballs and not get the police called on you is good times, right?

This year for the holiday entry way, I was all about spooky simplicity. Similar to last year's Halloween decor, I kept with the black and aqua theme but added in some more neutral and wood tones by including the crate and vintage flash cards.
If you follow me on Instagram, then you may have already heard how I scored that adorable Halloween crate at Goodwill a few weeks ago. Let's just say it involved diving between someone's legs and fighting off fellow shoppers. Can you believe someone tossed this thing in a donation pile? I mean YAY for me, but seriously it's so dang cute, I can't believe someone didn't want to love it anymore. It was perfect for our stash of pumpkins; both faux and real.
The black candelabra I've had for years (similar candle holder here). The wooden beads are from my friend, Lindy, of Paper Pine and Paint. The burlap 31 sign I believe was a Target find from last season.
As you can see, besides the crate, which was a bargain, I shopped my own home to put this year's Halloween entry way together! Always, always, look around your house for items you can use. It's one of my favorite ways to save money and I love the challenge of reusing things I have on hand! Hope you enjoyed this year's spooktacular decor!
