For the love of Pete, does anyone know where the month of April has gone? In six short weeks, we'll be meeting our baby girl. Don't mind me, I'll be over in the corner hyperventilating. Who ever says you'll be more prepared for your second (or third, or fourth....) must have a full time nanny, because I ain't got time for nothing! Find the breast pump? Clean bottles? Buy diapers? Pssshhhh....
It hit me today that I never shared my nursery inspiration with y'all! We've been busy working on the room but honestly, our progress seems to ebb and flow. Is it just me or does there always seem to be that one wall or space in a room makeover that just stumps the heck out of you? That would be our changing table wall. For the past few weeks, it's been a thorn in my side....or more like a butcher knife. Friends, it seriously just has me perplexed!

Everything centers around the blush pink walls and watercolor floral wall art. In my head I had always imagined if I got another stab at a nursery, that I would go very white, neutral, and "farmhousey". Never in a million years did I think I'd go pink, that was until I stumbled across this room. From that day forward, I was OBSESSED with all things blush pink. Like I don't even recognize myself anymore!
Don't worry though, I haven't gone too sugary sweet on you, I'm still adding in a few wood tones here and there to balance it all out. Perhaps you could describe it as feminine farmhouse, if that even makes sense??
So there you have it, my nursery plans! Of course, as with all room makeovers, I'm making up some stuff as we go, editing and re-editing, and re-editing, and re-editing....
I can only hope when it's all said and done, that I'm just as happy as I was when we completed Little B's nursery (sigh, I remember those days when I was so organized!)
By the way, if anyone has ever ordered a pouf and been satisfied with it, I'd love to know about it. Reviews on most of the reasonably priced ones I've come across are meh, not so hot. So hit me up with your suggestions!
Pssst....make sure to follow along on Instagram where I'll be sharing some sneak peeks on our nursery progress. Shenanigans are sure to be included.
