Happy Tuesday every one! Have you also been drooling over all of the holiday home tours going on right now in blogland? Seriously, some of them are worthy of magazine covers! Well, today I'm inviting you in to tour our holiday home, all ten square feet of it. See! I'm such a gracious host, no need to exert any energy. All you have to do is step into our foyer, look straight, and TADA, Christmas tours done!

As most of you know, we moved back at the end of July. I

We have A LOT of ideas on how to make this house our home but as you can imagine working full time and chasing after a  toddler has left us with very little time to plan, paint, hang this, hang that, and so on.

That's EXACTLY why this tour stops right at our front door! A lot of our rooms right now are just simply walls with furniture thrown into them. I'm hoping after the new year when things slow down (insert sarcasm) we can dive into some house projects and start decorating!

Christmas Decor

Similar to our Halloween decor this year, I kept the holiday decorating quarantined to just our foyer. Well, and of course, we have our tree up and our stair banister decked out with garland and wreaths too.

I hate the idea of spending a lot of money on new Christmas decor when I don't know what the future of each room and space will look like. I'm a matchy-match girl from time to time, and I prefer to incorporate my holiday colors into my regular, day-to-day decor. Hence why I kept it minimal and stuck to shopping our home and a places like T.J. Maxx. That's where I found my lovely buck head candle holder and cake stand. I mixed them with a few old Dollar Store ornaments to make for a festive display.

The large mercury lantern was a housewarming gift from some friends of ours. It's actually a patio lantern that has a battery operated light inside but I thought it would be perfect for my Christmas vignette. I dressed it up with a holiday sprig from Michaels.I'm on a major rustic kick lately, but don't think that means you'll see me camping any time soon!

The red crate was a new find scored at Ross. I tossed in Little B's faux sheepskin rug and a few Holiday themed throw pillows. The framed 25 is actually from a vintage calendar. I purchased it from a vendor at one of our local holiday markets.

I love the contrast of the black and kraft brown against the holiday reds.

The rest of the space gets into the spirit with some more holiday greenery and ceramic decor.

The wall art is a really inexpensive download from the Caravan Shoppe .

I then had it printed through Walgreens during one of their 50% off sales.

I'm head over heels in love with the idea of incorporating chalkboards into holiday decor but I can't STAND the feel of chalk so this print was a total win in my book!

Have I mentioned that I love having a foyer for the first time in my life? At our hold house you pretty much stepped straight into our great room (as my hubby likes to refer to it, mind you this is the man who believes you still take your shoe to the cobbler to get fixed).

Well folks, this brings us to the end of the tour. I sure hope you didn't wear out your walking shoes!

You even still have time to get back to your shopping.

Thanks for coming along and Happy Holidays!

How is everyone else's decorating coming along? Finished, still working on it, haven't started?

Forgot it was December?
