Thanks for all the love on our powder room reveal the other day! Another space that's been occupying my thoughts lately has been the 6 year old's room. I feel like I've been tweaking his space for quite awhile now and that's probably because I have! I finally found a solution for above his dresser that I'm over the moon about; a new, fun wall canvas.

I LOVED my son's nursery but now that he's almost 7, I've been working on making a few updates and one of those changes was to the gallery wall above his dresser.
We lived with this sweet arrangement for a couple of years and I was just ready for a little change.
I racked my brain for months trying to come up with another wall display and finally one day I just asked my husband to help me throw up a large shelf I had on hand. I displayed a few pieces of art that I had been collecting and some of his special baseballs. I liked it but I didn't love it.
Fast forward to a few weeks ago when I was first introduced to Photowall; a Swedish company for wallpaper, prints, and canvases. I always thought a large piece of art above this dresser was just what this wall needed. I was super excited to browse though their HUGE collection of prints and motifs, and when I say "huge" I mean there are literally thousands of different designs to pick from. It took me almost four days to narrow down my choices!
For an international company, I couldn't believe how incredibly fast my order shipped (did I mention they offer free US shipping?) My canvas arrived disassembled, almost like a little DIY project, so that it wouldn't wrinkle or break during shipping. It may sound like a pain but let me tell you it was SUPER easy to put together and comes with very clear instructions. No hammering or drilling involved. Everything you need is included. I think it took me 15 minutes max to assemble it.
I'm super happy with how it turned out (the quality is amazing) and the kiddo gave it two thumbs up. I think it is just the kick in the butt I need to finish up the rest of the changes in this room, so stay tuned!
